Current stuff...

Well, I currently only have one project (WOOHOO!) and am working on a baby blanket for a friend at work. I also am searching for the perfect fingering yarn to try out a pair of socks that I've been wanting to make. My next MAJOR project is going to be a shawl made from the Philosopher's Wool book, 'Sheep to Shawl'. I'm still waiting to hear back from them regarding the matching hats that I see in the book but do not have a pattern for.

Currently on the needles:

This is the blanket I'm working on, however it will be done in purple and white, not blue and white. I believe that the main problem I am having is my tension. The first time around, my stitches looked horrible, completely uneven and I screwed up on the fourth row in. Scrapped it, started over using a different caston method and trying Continental stitching for the first time... and now the stitches seem too tight. ><

I'm going to see how it goes... I mean, it's still looking good, even if it's small. It may wind up being a newborn-size blanket instead of the size in the picture. Worse comes to worst, I just go and pick up another skein of purple and start over.
