The purple verigated (SP?) tippies are done and on my feet. I finally found the length that I like. From the end of the ribbed rows to the beginning of the decrease is 45 rows. I might be able to get away with 50 if I'm ambitious.
I got blue verigated yarn and am working a plain sock pattern, nothing fancy. I also have ordered two more colours of Fixation yarn from Linda. She says it'll be in within a week.
When I get paid, I'm going and picking up a ball or two of the local spun and dyed alpaca yarn from Yarn Garden. It's fingering weight, so I'm hoping to be able to make a pair of socks and/or wristlets from it. I'm also almost ready to take the plunge and buy some cashmere for the wristlets I want to make. Of course, I'll need to make socks to match. ^_^

Or if you're really daring, check out Buffalo Gold. instead of camel hair like Cashmere is, it's made from, you guessed it, Buffalo hair. I hear its good stuff to work with.
I'll have to find some...
