These are the cabled socks from the pattern listed in my links. They're going slowly because I've already screwed up once and had to start over. The pattern's not HARD, but it's really easy to miss a stitch. I'm happy so far though!

Pics, as promised.
Tippies! These are the first pair of tippies I made, along with how they look in the shoes. I have to say, it'll be more fun to have socks to match my outfits, than have shoes. :) I like them, they're a bit short though and don't stay on when the shoes aren't on. Going to try making a pair a bit longer. My toes get cold in winter.

Oh, my god, those shoes are so cool! Tippies are awesome too, I admire anyone who knits socks as I'm too chicken to try yet.
We LOVES the shoes, we do. It's so much cheaper to buy/make socks to match my outfits. XD
Don't be chicken!! It's a bit daunting at first, but the Tippies pattern is a great way to get used to using double pointeds, as well as decreases.
Believe me, my first pair was a bit intimidating as well. :)
